The Council and Politics in Bradford
Alan has criticised the Council for its defensive attitude, and its tendency to ignore real problems. He believes that this attitude has become counterproductive, and will tend to make the problems worse. Alan has also called on the leaders of the three main parties to drop some of their political differences, and to work more openly together on the long-term problems of the District. He thinks that this will be good for Bradford , and therefore good for Heaton.
Do you agree with this criticism of Council leaders?
Do you support the idea of the main political parties working together, even if you are loyal to one or other of the parties?
If you support the idea, how can party allegiances be overcome to make it work in practice?
