Well done! It's looking great. You've worked hard and with passion. It is
heart-warming that such issues are being raised and that people care enough
to want a better Bradford. It is people like you and campaigns like these
that re-affirm my stay in Bradford.

I read the [Campaign Statement], and was very much impressed by what you'd written.  I think its very admirable you focusing on issues that really affect our community, but even more so by the fact that you are indeed treading on ground that no other candidate would dare enter.  It is important that we move beyond 'taboos' and bring to the forefront issues which affect community cohesion.

Ive only ever voted once, but have since refrained from voting.  Im glad you are standing as an independent and i would like to let you know that you have my vote.  Every other mailshot ive received is promising to tackle issues of education, health etc.  Not that im undermining the importance of these issues, but one could come to the conclusion that it is 'playing on the safe side'.  The fact that you're even venturing into 'controversial' areas speaks volumes

You will have my vote and I think you stand to gain a lot of support just on
the basis of what's in your leaflet.

Thanks for the link, Alan: inspiring stuff!

It's really good to see someone standing for election who isn't pretending to have all the answers, but who would work to create an atmosphere in which the people of Bradford can work together to address many of the issues facing the District - a commitment to democracy in fact!   You will certainly be getting one of my votes!
Well done, Alan, and good luck.
